Save George Buzinkai!
iambowman: Yes, the same George Buzinkai who has contributed so much to the soundtrack of Homestuck including Doctor, Explore, Endless Climb, and Firefly has been through a lot lately. Despite having composed some of the most identifiable and beloved themes in the Homestuck soundtrack, George Buzinkai has been befallen some of the worst luck. In the last year he has suffered many hardships...

SBURB OST is out now!
hsmusicfansblogthing: That’s right it’s FINALLY OUT! This labour of love for the past year and a bit has finally completed and is ready for your viewing pleasure! What would happen if Sburb OST was released with a generic soundtrack for everyone, like any other game? This was a question that we sought to answer with  this unoffical Homestuck album. It features 56 jingles and tracks for your...

fwugradiation: It’s finally here! Join the consorts on an amphibious adventure through the world of the Genesis Frog. NOTE: Here the noun “amphibious adventure” means “goofy orchestral music by Alexander Rosetti” and “join the consorts on” means “listen to.” Also “through the world of the Genesis frog” means “at your computer.” Throw money at your screen now.

Save Sibelius - This is extremely important, so... →
captainpunish: Every piece I compose involves me using the notation software, Sibelius, in some way. The entirety of the solo album I am putting out later this month was notated in Sibelius before I sequenced it. I am also a concert composer who relies on notation for his musicians to read, and in my opinion Sibelius is the best notation software there is. Countless composers, arrangers, and...

Music composition thoughts, don't read if you...
captainpunish: Every time I work on a composition the absolute hardest and most important thing for me, and I’m sure a lot of composers, to do is create balance between two certain things: Writing enjoyable, “this sounds good on my ears!” music, and writing technically interesting and carefully developed music. I don’t particularly enjoy having just one or the other, as the former tends to lose...

Cobalt Corsair Commentary
Cobalt Corsair For those of you who didn’t know, Cobalt Corsair was originally a theme for Hussie. The song being given to Mindfang, while some find it hilariously ironic, I find to be a lot more fitting. I do have a tendency to write piratey sounding orchestral songs; this time it just happened to be accidental! For this commentary, I’m going to be dividing the song up both by...

Descend Pianokind - Sheet Music!
So this is pretty cool - Kurama101 decided to take it upon himself to create sheet music for my piano cover of Descend! You can download the sheets here (PDF) An MP3 is available too, which is what the above sheet music is based off. I suppose that’s worth noting, because the MP3 version has a few differences from the one I filmed.

LoFaM2 - Artists Needed →
xzazupsilon: I was supposed to put this up. Here’s the list of tracks for LoFaM2. If a song has a = next to it, that means the art is done, ready to go. If it has a ~, that means it’s been reserved.
